Saw "Real Women Have Curves" on HBO last night. It's a cute little independent film that's been on my list since it came out in the theatres.
I loved this movie and not just for its message (which should be pretty obvious from the title). I thought it was much more true to the immigrant family mentality than the overly cutesy "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" wedding was, and while Curves had its own share of cliches, they weren't nearly as painfully contrived as Wedding's were.
