Bruce Cockburn

Bruce Cockburn, shown here in Los Angeles on his 1993 tour, is a Canadian singer-songwriter who is becoming better-known in the US and who has long been well-known and popular in Canada.

Many of his songs are political, the results of his travels and activism. He is honorary chair of Friends of the Earth.

He is also a Christian, as are many of his fans. Indeed, his fans are quite diverse, including Christians, political leftists, avid guitarists, and many others, including many who span several groups.

Bruce's birthday is May 27th, 1945. The Humans mailing list sent him a birthday present in 1995, organized and presented by Audrey Pearson.
