Raffle
In 1995, Al made the ultimate collectible available to the ASML. The
Epiphone
guitar he used to record his first five albums was raffled off
for charity. The winner was Dan Farmer, former maintainer of the Al Stewart
Mailing List. $3000 was raised for charity, $1000 to each of the
Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the American Cancer Society, and Habitat for
Humanity.
